Harry Potter’s Stuntman Seriously Injured

Filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows may have to be put on hold after the stunt double for Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter was seriously injured in one of the scenes.
According to the London’s Daily Mirror the unnamed 25 year-old stuntman, who has been Radcliffe’s double in all of the films, was rehearsing an aerial sequence at the time of his injury and was rushed to nearby Watford hospital.
The Mirror said “The stunt double was badly hurt. The scene seems to have gone badly wrong. The guy was rigged up to a harness and was flying through the air. It is thought he may have been caught in the explosion and hit the ground very hard. He told crew members who went to help him that he couldn’t feel anything from the waist down. Everyone is hoping he makes a good recovery. It has come as a terrible shock.” A Warner Bros. executive made a statement saying, ”
We can confirm a member of the Harry Potter production was injured in an accident. We are awaiting further news. Out of respect for the family we are unable to comment any further.” This film will be split into two parts with the first segment due out in November 2010.
