Third Instalment of Robert Langdon in Talks
Jacksonville – Dan Brown, author of “The Da Vinci Code” and “Angels and Demons”, has just announced that his next instalment in the series titled “The Lost Symbol” will be hitting the shelves on September 15.
Columbia Pictures already has its sights set on the third film with “The Da Vinci Code” bringing in $758 million worldwide and the much anticipated “Angels and Demons’ due out on May 15, they have high hopes for the third.
Ron Howard directed the first two films with Tom Hanks starring as the main character Dr. Robert Langdon.
All that has been revealed about “The Lost Symbol” is that the story takes place over a twelve-hour period.
Brown said “This novel has been a strange and wonderful journey. Weaving five years of research into the story’s twelve-hour time frame was an exhilarating challenge. Robert Langdon’s life clearly moves a lot faster than mine.”
