Can Adam Lambert Win American Idol?
Los Angeles – There are only four contestants left in American Idol, but for some reason I already know who’s going to win. Sure, they are all great performers, but there’s only one contestant that consistently brings is every week. That contestant (for those of you who either haven’t been watching the show or who are from another planet) is Adam Lambert.
So, the guest mentor was Slash from Guns N’ Roses and he was particularly helpful to the contestants. He really allowed them to get in touch with their inner rockstars.
Let us speak about the other contestants for a moment. They all did an exceptional job except for Kris Allen. He did a quite boring version of “Come Together” and it was very forgettable.
Danny Gokey was impressive, but not great. He did “Dream On” but failed to hit the most important note of the song, which is the Steven Tyler scream at the end. Simon said it sounded like a scream from a horror film.
Allison Iraheta is the only contestant that can even begin to hold a candle to Adam, but her song choice was as disappointing as her personality. She chose the Joplin song, “Cry Baby.”
Who’s going home tonight? Either Danny or Kris. Most likely Kris.

Adam was AMAZING last night! Not only was he amazing he answered his critics, with the help of Gokey, and showed us the difference between screaming and singing. Everybody can now stop saying that Adam screams… If you want to know what a scream sounds like just listen to Danny killing (and I mean that in a bad murdering chalk outline kind of way) the poor innocent song Dream On. That is screaming. You know it. It was bad. Yuck. My ears were bleeding. His fans know it too. I am sorry but there is a difference between screaming and Rock N Roll. We saw that difference last night. Vote for the Worst pick Danny Gokey = screaming. Adam Lambert = Rock N Roll.
Could Adam have been anymore AMAZING? Just when you think he couldn’t get any better, or raise the bar higher, he comes out and blows your mind! The sex appeal just oozes off of him, his vocals are un-freakin-believable and his stage presence is dominating. I see a finale with Adam getting the confetti shower he deserves!
