Howard Stern To Clear Channel?

Howard Stern has certainly had an interesting journey. A man that started out flying on a rope at a concert and passing gas in a poor attempt to entertain the crowd is now the most listened to radio host in the world. Howard Stern has been involved with terrestrial radio, wrote a bestselling book, starred in a hit movie, had his own show on Entertainment Television, and of course, is still a radio host on Sirius XM. While he had no problem profiting off these endeavors, the deal with XM Sirius was by far his biggest hit, to the tune of $500 million dollars.

Fortunately for Mr. Stern, his contract with XM Sirius is about to expire. This has led the CEO of Clear Channel Communications to express interest in his services. Yes, this is the same Clear Channel Communications that has Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Based on political views, this would make for a very awkward environment. Not to mention that Clear Channel would require Stern to tone down his profanity, which would lead to a dull Stern show. However, none of this should be a concern. Stern has stated that despite his contract expiring at the end of the year, he has no desire to leave.
