Brothers & Sisters’ star out

The ABC show “Brothers & Sisters’” may be going through a bit of an upheaval. The first domino to fall that people in the media reported was the fact that Rob Lowe decided to leave the show in order to pursue other projects. Now, it appears that actress Calista Flockhart is now only coming to the recordings of “Brothers & Sisters” one day a week. With Lowe and Flockhart both basically leaving the show, this reportedly has left producers in a bind as they try and stay competitive in the ratings war. The fact that the show appears to be losing much of its star power can not be a good sign for the overall health of the show.

Sally Field remains committed to “Brothers & Sisters” and remains excited about the future of the show. It remains to be seen whether Field would be able to carry a show on her own star power any more if Flockhart were to leave the show. Field has starred in her own television show before, but the question remains as ti whether today’s generation will be able to find appeal in a show without Flockhart & Lowe while still being drawn in by Sally Field.
